I sow and chuck out. So chucked out so far have been courgettes, pumpkins, runners, french beans, sweetcorn, have sown some stuff outside now too carrots, borage, parsley, radishes, all bordered by calendula. Have artichokes looking for a bed home somewhere, dunno where though, must sow some more beans too. Have also done some salad stuff in pots near the back door, as I'm more likely to use it before it bolts that way! Choose leaves you can just pick as you go along, rather than whole heads. have spare courgettes and squashes still in pots too.
